Wholesale Deliveries and Collections

1 Deliveries

We deliver direct to our retailers’ premises (typically store or warehouse) throughout the UK mainland via our own fleet of transport. In the event of smaller orders, we also offer a 3rd party pallet delivery. We do not currently offer a direct home delivery service for our retailers; however, it is something we are looking in to for the near future.

1.2 Charges

If your total outstanding order value(s) are over £1000 net, they will be delivered via our own fleet, free of charge. For stockists not on an ongoing discount structure with us, orders between £500 and £1000 net can be delivered via our 3rd party pallet service, free of charge.

Any orders below £500 net or required urgently can be delivered via our pallet service, although a small delivery cost will be applied based on postcode, with payment required prior to delivery.

1.3 The Process

When your order has been scheduled, our delivery team will call you to book in, usually 4-7 days before delivery. A delivery note will be emailed to you, which will detail all the items we plan to deliver. Please check that this is correct prior to delivery. If you wish to know the time of delivery, you can call our delivery team the day before and they will be able to assist. They are unlikely to be able to offer a specific time any earlier than the day before, due to our tight delivery schedule.

1.4 Lead Times

Lead times vary dependent on the size of the order, as we fill our 48m3 rigid box lorries for optimal efficiency. If lead time is a concern, contact the sales office and they will be able to advise you. With our fantastic pallet service, no order is too small, and so typical deliveries are anywhere between 4 days to 2/3 weeks, stock permitting.

We will usually wait to deliver your order complete. If an item is unavailable, leading to an incomplete order, we will call you to give you the option of receiving a part delivery. When the remainder of the order is back in stock, we will organise a further delivery to you. Alternatively, you can hold off receiving the whole order until it is complete if you wish. If you require part of an order more urgently, call our Sales Office and they will endeavour to arrange this for you.

 

2. Collections

Collections can be made by stockists or couriers (organised by the retailer), direct from our Bideford warehouse, Monday to Friday.

To make a collection we require 48 hours’ notice to make sure the items are ready to collect. Collections should ideally be arranged for between 7am and 3.30pm, although in some cases later afternoon collections may be possible – ask our Sales Office for more details.
